Roxie is the sweetest Cardigan you could ever hope to meet. Roxie's owner passed away and she had been being cared for by a family member. Roxie has been overweight for some time which has caused damage to her spine and knees. She is on pain management and a diet and is losing weight in her foster home. She can walk just fine but does have issues with stairs. She has a support harness, shown above, that gives her support when she does have to do stairs. The best thing for Roxie now is to be kept on a strict diet and for her to do light exercise everyday. Roxie is not a big fan of traveling long distances. She had been shaved for the summer but her fur is growing back in nicely now. Roxie is housetrained and crate trained.

Roxie is a huge snuggle bug and just wants love. She is happy girl despite her soreness, and is quite chatty when she wants something. Roxie's retirement home would be one without children and in a calm environment. She does well with other dogs but it would be best for her to be around other calm dogs due to her soreness. Roxie would benefit from holistic pet care such as chiropractic and acupunture. Roxie is just an easy keeper and joy to have around.
