Noah has had a rough start in life. He lived in a home but was only kept in a crate in the basement. He is learning all about fine home living now and loves it! He is a shy dog who does not trust easily but with patience he will get there. He has been in foster for about 4 weeks and is very fond of his foster Mom. Even though his life was spent in a crate he is fine being crated. He is starting to play with toys and become more socialized in a home environment. He is very clean, totally housebroken and dog friendly. He seems to be happiest with another dog or two around. He had been debarked prior to coming into rescue so has a raspy voice. Apparently Noah has shown a penchant for chasing cars. He was hit by a car as a puppy and surgery for a broken leg has left him with a funny gait. Noah must go to a home with a fenced yard. Noah needs a special home who will allow him plenty of time to adjust and not expect a lot of him. He needs to be allowed to trust at his own pace. If you are looking for an instant buddy then Noah is not the dog for you. However, if you are open for a long term relationship that will take time to grow, Noah is well worth the wait. There is a very special, sweet and loving dog in this handsome package. If you are interested in Noah, please fill out an application. |
